About the Event

Come escape with us into nature, with like minded people, reconnect with yourself and your adventurous spirit!

Date: 14th - 16th August 2020 (x 2 nights)

Venue: Mtentu Lodge,Wild Coast, nestled on the edge of the Mkambati Nature Reserve



- Meet at the Wild Coast Sun Casino at 07:45 am to leave at 08:00 am for a 10 km walk along the coastline to the venue with a guide.

(this is optional, and you can either take the arranged vehicle to the venue or drive in your own car, however you do need a high clearance vehicle, preferably a 4x4 to get there).

- Lunch

- Settle in and get acquainted with the area

- Sunset Yoga + Yoga Nidra

- Dinner


- Sunrise Breathing Practice (Pranayama), followed by

- Energizing Yoga Flow

- Breakfast

- Hike up north to the waterfalls (this is at least half a day excursion and we will more than likely take a packed lunch)

- Lunch

- Free time to explore on your own, kayak up the estuary or take it easy

- Restorative Yoga Practice

- Dinner + bonfire


- Sunrise Breathing Practice

- Energizing yoga flow

- Breakfast

- Free time to take the opportunity for any last minute activities or chill out

*Mindfulness Journal:

There will be an optional three day mindfulness journal workshop lead by Nikita Gouveia from Just Be Yoga Mindfulness

Writing is a powerful way to slow down, check in with yourself and deepen your mindfulness practice and for this reason, Just be Yoga & Mindfulness has created a 30 day journal with prompts to help you connect with your mind, body, heart and environment.

For those who are joining us on the Wild Coast Escape Retreat, you will receive a 3 day mindfulness journal specific for the retreat and have the option to get the 30 day journal at a discounted rate if you would like to continue this life changing practice after the weekend.

Get excited about intention setting for each day and reflection in the evenings.

Express gratitude, reflect on how you’re feeling and enjoy a quick, playful mindfulness exercise to challenge yourself and reassess your priorities.

*Check out is at 10 am, if you took the hike to the venue or went in the arranged vehicle then we will all collectively decide what time to leave to go back to the Wild Coast Sun to finally say good-bye and part ways.
